On July 1, 2024, Takarazuka City, Nissan Motor Co., Hyogo Nissan, and Nissan Osaka signed a collaboration agreement to use electric vehicles (EVs) as power sources during disasters. This initiative aims to enhance the city’s disaster preparedness and promote EV adoption, as part of Nissan’s “Blue Switch” program to achieve decarbonization and community resilience.
