Google has expanded voice technology in Africa by introducing 15 new languages to Voice Search, Gboard talk-to-type, and Translate, enabling 300 million Africans to engage with the web through their voice. Google.org has committed $5.8 million to AI and cybersecurity skills education in Sub-Saharan Africa, partnering with NGOs and institutions to broaden the benefits of the digital economy.
