Volkswagen Group subsidiary Elli has launched the “Elli Charger 2” smart charging product in Europe. The new charger integrates price-optimized charging and solar surplus charging to reduce charging costs by up to 40%. In partnership with Norwegian solar marketplace Otovo, customers can also purchase solar systems for their homes. The charger supports dynamic electricity tariffs and features compatibility with various EV models, ensuring cost-efficient and environmentally friendly charging.
