In August 2024, Suzuki’s global production decreased by 2.1% year-on-year, marking the third consecutive monthly decline. Domestic production dropped for the first time in seven months, while production in India reached a record high. Domestic sales continued to rise for the eighth consecutive month, driven by the increase in light vehicles, but overseas sales declined due to decreases in India and Europe. Exports fell for the first time in five months, largely due to reduced shipments to Europe.
