In August 2024, Mazda’s global production reached 86,192 units, a decrease of 1.6% year-on-year. Domestic production of passenger vehicles decreased by 14.0%, while overseas production rose by 18.8%, led by strong performance from the “CX-50” and “MAZDA2.” Domestic sales decreased by 18.5%, including commercial vehicles. Exports fell by 15.3%, largely due to declines in North America, Europe, and Oceania, though exports to other regions increased. Global sales increased by 8.9%, primarily driven by growth in the U.S. market.
