On June 24, 2024, BYD won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award for the project “Independent Development and Large-scale Industrialization of Key Components and Vehicle Platforms for the New Generation of Electric Vehicles.” This project includes innovative technologies like blade batteries and autonomous SiC, achieving over 5 million sales in recent years.
