Ford has become the first automaker to participate in a new program that rewards Southern California electric vehicle owners for reducing their home energy use during periods of high grid demand. Ford’s California Power Response program allows customers to pause their vehicle charging during peak demand events and receive $1 per kWh of energy reduced. This initiative enhances the benefits of owning an electric vehicle by providing additional financial incentives.
